End Day 2

Today I learned about a glog.  I am creating a glog based off of my book.  I started working on my glog and it will probably be completely different by when I have to submit it.  It seems like a fun activity which would help anyone be creative.  This is more entertaining then drawling a poster because it allows you to go more in depth with creating it.  I am not a very creative person and this helps me become more creative.  I could definately use this in the future because I am not an artist.

Day 2

During last class, I learned how to use a wordle and get more in depth with using my blog.  I created a wordle and posted it in my blog.  The wordle dealt with the words that came out of my book, "David Goes to School."  Wordle seems like a fun activity that I would be able to do with my students in years to come.
In previous classes, Dr. Luongo has mentioned something called a glog.  I have no idea what a glog is.  Im guessing that a glog is similar to a blog just based off of how similar the names are.  I am anxious to figure out and start my own glog.

End Day 1

Today in class I learned more about using wordles.  In my wordle I used most of the words that are in the book "David Goes To School."  I also learned that I could vary my wordle by chagning the font, color, size, size of words, and the landscape of the picture.  I could use this wordle in my lesson by reinforcing all the things David was not allowed to do and all the rules he broke during the school day.
It is easy to set classroom rules and regulations after reading this book.  The rules mentioned in the story are very basic rules that most schools enforce.  At the end of the story David ends up getting appraised for doing something good, that shows how good things can always come from something bad pending on the situation.

Day 1

During Dr. Luongo's class today, I would like to find out more about blogging, glogging, and wordleing.  My partner and I are working with a book called "David Goes To School."  This book is about a boy named David who is a trouble maker in school.  Throughout the course of the book,  David does several things wrong and has to deal with the consequences.  During the story, David doesn't show improvement.  The teacher finally figured out a way to help David and keep him out of trouble.

My partner Sheniqua and I will be basing our lesson plan off of a book called David Goes To School.  This book is written by David Shannon.
